🇨🇦 Why Canadian? Cherries are our thing! Nearly 70% to 80% of the sweet cherry varieties grown around the world were actually created right here in BC by the Summerland Research and Development Centre in the Okanagan – Sweetheart, Staccato, Lapins, and Santina, for example. In fact, a classic rule of thumb in the industry is that almost every cherry variety coming from this lab has a name that starts with the letter ’S’. 🍁
