In this maple walnut affogato, enjoy a scoop of toasted maple walnut gelato under a shot of espresso, finished with whipped cream and a drizzle of ají-infused maple syrup.
Served alongside a mini cone holding our signature milk chocolate bonbon, filled with Uganda vanilla gelato and rosemary-burnt caramel.

🇨🇦 Why Canadian? In South American cooking, ají (pronounced ah-HEE) refers broadly to a chili pepper or a spicy condiment made from peppers. Infused in syrup and added to maple syrup from Quebec, walnut from Ontario and raspberry from British Columbia, it all adds up to a Canadian drink with a Colombian kick. 🍁

For this drink, Uno Gelato invited Aēlo, a premium, North Vancouver-based company that crafts zero-alcohol, zero-sugar and zero-calorie mocktails to provide the base for a blend of Okanagan Peach and Quebec maple sugar with Colombian coconut. It’s a Canadian version of the classic Venetian Peach Bellini by way of Cartagena. 🍁
